Update…

A rather odd couple of weeks. I did publish an update last week but removed it as it barely contained anything as… well, it was a bit of a dramatic week which I couldn’t – and still cannot – talk about in any detail. The whole business put me in a downer mood for an entire week during which… let’s just say I wasn’t the best of company as I felt torn, confused and conflicted. Yeah, we encounter such troughs occasionally.

This week just ending… it began with my bad mood lingering on and feeling stuck in a stalemate situation. I had to spend much time writing and trying to get to the bottom of the situation in order to put the bad feelings behind me in order to move on. Not always easy, but where there’s a will there’s a way.

I had agreed to go along to the town of Whitehaven for an Electric Sunshine Project meeting to be held on Friday. It was touch and go whether or not I would make it but I turned a corner on Thursday and felt considerably livelier and in a better state of mind for a long day of travel. Whitehaven is a fair distance from Blackpool and I thought it was a bit of a bizarre idea to hold an important meeting there to discuss the future, but…

Thank goodness I went. A very enjoyable day in good company. A long meeting covering plentiful ground and I trust we came up with good ideas and thoughts about various things presented to us. Again, I can’t disclose much detail about it other than the future is looking very exciting, so was delighted to throw in my tuppence worth of thoughts. Afterwards we all went for a meal and walked through the town centre and yes, I had the Nikon to get a bunch of candids and some of those are really charming. Much good humour and positivity in the air. Also helping was a couple of crucial emails relating to the other situation finally breaking an impasse and we’re now able to start moving on which is a huge relief. A lovely day… worth the long hours of travel there and back!

Other things are in the pipeline and 2020 is starting to shape up into what should be another good progressive year. If only some neighbours in my house could be evicted as there’s been a few dramas going on, some requiring police involvement and as I type there’s all manner of selfish noise one should NOT have to suffer, violently invading my privacy and space which is pissing me off. But apart from that, we’ve gotten through a crappy time and feeling hopeful and reasonably confident…

As ever, keep watching this space.
